Wellness

In today's fast paced environment Foster's recognises the need to promote a healthy work-life balance. To do this we offer flexibility and support to assist with the challenges we all face in daily life.

Employee Assistance Program

Foster's Employee Assistance Program (EAP) offers us and our families a free and confidential counselling service to assist with personal and work related issues.  The EAP is designed to help us with a range of challenges including:

  • Emotional stress
  • Drug, alcohol and gambling problems
  • Marriage and family relationships, inter-personal relationships
  • Health problems
  • Work-related issues
  • Financial counselling

Paid Maternity Leave

After 12 months of continuous (permanent) employment we are entitled to take a maximum of 52 weeks Parental Leave if we are the principal care-giver to a newly-born or newly-adopted child.

Now here’s the great part… As part of Foster’s ongoing commitment to supporting its valued employees, Maternity leave is paid for the first eight weeks of leave, or we can have it paid to us as half-pay for the first 16 weeks of leave!

Flexible Work Practices

Foster’s has a flexible work practices policy that enables us to accommodate the priorities and commitments we have outside of our work at Foster’s. This policy addresses part time, job share and telecommuting work arrangements, and aims to minimise unnecessary stress that comes with working outside of our means. Of course, we need to come to an agreement with our managers on the working arrangements we’d like to request.

Health Insurance

One thing we should all have is private health insurance, and Foster’s supports us by providing a fantastic corporate insurance policy at a discounted rate.
